Ryōko Kaji (梶 亮子 Kaji Ryōko) is a character in Tsurezure Children. She is the daughter of Hiroko Kaji, a student in Class 3-8 and the girlfriend of Masafumi Akagi.
Appearance[]
Ryōko appears to have the looks a delinquent (Masafumi Akagi thinks she is cute) with waist-length blonde hair that has bangs swept to both sides (it has been confirmed that Ryōko used to have short hair), yellow eyes, a constant frown with angry-looking eyebrows, her forehead is prominent and her chin is rather small.
She typically wears her school uniform, a white, long-sleeved sailor top with a red tie, a black collar, black socks, a pleated black miniskirt and a green jacket.
Personality[]
Ryōko is a tsundere delinquent as she acts violent and brash, especially to Masafumi Akagi, but she loves him in actuality. Hiroko Kaji is not very supportive and her depression has caused her to resort to smoking, but Akagi gets her to stop and she slowly begins to change into a more academically responsible individual as she wants to go to college alongside Akagi. She is insecure about how her peers view her now that she is trying to shape up with her life.
History[]
Ryōko never had an interest to go to university after she graduates from high school and Hiroko Kaji didn't bother about her future. But due to Masafumi Akagi's influence, she finally gets an idea of going to university therefore studies really hard along with Akagi's help to get into a good university.

Masafumi Akagi[]
Masafumi is Ryōko's boyfriend throughout the series who is a serious and straightforward guy, but he cares for her deeply and tries to help her develop as an individual despite her reckless nature.
Erika Shibasaki[]
Shibasaki is Ryōko's classmate who seem to get along well, but they do not interact often.
Etymology[]
- The name Ryōko means "clear" (亮) (ryou) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Ryōko's surname Kaji means "wind" (梶).
