Shinichi is a quirky and upbeat teenager. He tends to speak in short English phrases at times; he also tends to be a playboy around girls (though he may not be aware how much it affects their feelings) and even calls himself a "Dating Master" and "Love Master", much to everyone's annoyance and amazement.
History
Yuki Minagawa is a good friend of Masafumi Akagi, he is said to have rejected a lot of girls, one of them being Yuki. He is actually in love with Yuki but cannot say it to her, after he rejected her, he started to have regrets. One day he was recruited by the drama club and agreed to join them.
Shinichi coughing up blood
In a later chapter, it is revealed that Shinichi has been fighting an illness that causes him to cough up blood. Because of this, he has been repeating years at high school. So many times in fact, that he originally attended high school even before the current third years began high school.
Relationships
Kazuko Hosokawa:
Kazuko has a crush on him. They first met when Shinichi was in a tree, helping a kitten out of a tree.
Masafumi Akagi:
He and Masafumi are good friends, and have been since their first year.
Ayane Matsuura:
Ayane is a fellow member of the Drama Club, and has a crush on Shinichi.
Yuki Minagawa:
Shinichi rejected her after she confessed to him in his second year.
